Paydicity Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-25

Paydicity is a service provided by Javier Ignacio Belmar Tevar (Tax ID / NIF: 48726878K). Contact email: paydicity@gmail.com.

1. Acceptance

Using Paydicity ("the app") implies full acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of the service

Paydicity is a mobile application that lets users record and split personal and shared expenses. It does not process real-money payments and does not act as a financial intermediary. Money transfers between users happen outside the app.

3. Account registration

To use the app you must create an account with a valid email and a password. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password confidential.
  • All activity carried out from your account.
  • Providing truthful information and keeping it up to date.

Minimum age: 16.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • Upload offensive or illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Access the app via automated means (bots, scrapers) without express authorisation.
  • Attempt to compromise the backend or other users' accounts.

We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these rules.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into Paydicity. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it for the sole purpose of providing the service.

6. No financial warranty

Paydicity is an expense tracking tool. We do not guarantee that the recorded amounts are correct: they depend on what each user enters. We are not liable for financial disputes between users.

7. Availability

The app is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific service level. We may perform maintenance or introduce changes without prior notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profits or data loss arising from the use of the app. Our total liability is capped at the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months (which is zero in the free tier).

9. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. The full process is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be published at the same URL and, if the changes are material, we will also notify you inside the app.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute is subject to the courts of the consumer's domicile when consumer protection legislation applies.
